96.86% on HESI
i just took my hesi yesterday and got a 96.86! thank u to everyone on this sub for the help it was so beneficial for me. i wanted to share what helped me on each section.
Anatomy: 100%
the quizlet that’s going around was exactly like my HESI. i was a bit paranoid so i did take all the practice tests on nurse hub which was very helpful in understanding the concepts. i would recommend doing the practice tests at the end and understanding those concepts instead of going through every single section on nurse hub.
Biology 96%
It’s not needed to get into intricate details with this section it is super surface level. This quizlet helped me the most.

I also watched Nurse Shai’s Biology videos. I took a few practice tests on Nurse Hub and made flash cards out of those which was helpful as well.
Chemistry 100%
I was shocked when I saw that I got a 100 in Chem I wasn’t expecting it. I took every practice test on Nurse Hub and used those questions to make flash cards. I watched Nurse Shai Chem as well which is helpful for understanding the basics. This Quizlet I recognized some questions from. Definitely know atomic number and mass of common elements. I remembered 13 elements which were H, C, N, O, F, Na, Mg, S, Cl, K, Ca, Fe, and Cu. This was a little excessive I only saw two questions about atomic mass

Reading 98%
Very easy. Use this link it had some of the passages it will def help you on test day when you’re already familiar with the passages. I did not use Nurse Hub at all for this section. All I did was look at these reading passages the night before.
Grammar 90%
This was my lowest score lol. I did mostly all of the practice tests on Nurse Hub for grammar. I did not have anything about predicates, predicate adjective, independent/dependent clause or any of those terms. They were all mostly asking which sentence is incorrect, or which sentence contains an incorrect word. I didn’t use any quizlets for this section.
Vocab 96%
Pretty easy. The majority of this section is common sense but there are some uncommon words. This quizlet is really good.

Math 96%
100% do the word problems u see on quizlet. I went through every single nurse hub section and did every practice test. It was the first section I started with on the test and I was anxious I think I could’ve done better. Remember King Henry Died By Drinking Chocolate Milk and the gallon man. I remembered so many conversations that I didn’t use, but at least for my test I only had to use king henry and gallon man.
Do not over stress about this exam, but yes you do have to put the time and effort in to do well!! Good luck everyone and I hope these tips help!!
