So we have been friends for 14 years and shes one of my closest friends but she has been getting on my nerves. First of all, she didnt check up on me after I broke up with my ex who I was with for 5 years. She also paid her portion of the phone bill late twice in the past 6 months so I will be taking her off my phone bill now. I ask her in advance if the due date is ok and she says yes, well this month I paid it ahead of time and last minute she says shell pay half this week and the other half next week because shes behind on her bills. It pissed me off because I just cut my hours so I work only 12 hours a week because I’m in nursing school and I don’t have the time to work right now. Also, I have to buy a new car because my car was hit and totaled and I also have to pay for furniture because I just moved (I have nothing and I moved back in with my parents) and I have to pay for my dogs vet appointment which is over $1000. So I don’t have money right now. she was living with her boyfriend‘s parents and then they moved into a apartment. She can’t afford the apartment because her boyfriend lost his job, but he almost never has a job so I don’t know why she even got the apartment to begin with. She also doesn’t have a car so she DoorDash her groceries from an expensive grocery store. Now I don’t really care about her financial business, but it’s affecting me now and it’s pissing me off. She’s also pregnant. I get that she’s dealing with her pregnancy, but it did kind of hurt that she didn’t check up on me after I broke up with my ex. I don’t wanna ruin the friendship, which is why I’m taking her off my plan. I do think that she was there for me during my last breakup which I really appreciate and she’s always been there for me and been solid so I don’t know if it’s a pregnancy thing. I also don’t know if I’m being selfish right now.
