Hi! I’m trying to make my own custom jigsaw puzzles (around 200–300 pieces) using printed images on sticker paper and blank puzzles, but I keep running into issues.

I’m doing this for TikTok and need a more affordable way to make puzzles instead of ordering custom ones.

What I’ve tried:

• Printing images on sticker paper and applying them to a blank sublimation puzzle

• Cutting the pieces out with an X-acto knife (way too difficult)

• Tracing the puzzle onto tracing paper, transferring it to the image, then cutting (super tedious and easy to mess up)

I know the puzzles I bought are meant for heat sublimation, but the sticker paper does stick to them, so I’m not sure if that’s the issue or not.

My main problems are:

• Cutting the pieces cleanly

• Getting everything to line up properly

I’ve seen puzzle piece cutters online, but I’m not sure if those actually work well or just jam. And if there is a way to do heat sublimation on the puzzles I would like trying that but I assume that’s expensive.

Are there better methods for doing this at home without expensive equipment? Even small tips would really help.
