DeLonghi espresso doing strange pumping pause, uneven water output
Hi! I have a DeLonghi that I’ve had for a while. I replaced the pump about four months ago and have used it frequently since then. Then one morning this started happening and I can’t figure out why.
When pulling a single espresso, the pump pauses mid-extraction and then continues. When I do the same for a double, it also pauses but then only pumps out roughly half the water compared to a single shot.
I descaled it yesterday but the problem persists. Does anyone have any idea what’s causing this, and what I can do to fix it?
