20F, reccurent fevers
Hi everyone,
I am a bit worried as I have had 4 fevers in the past 5 months. In January, I had a fever and a few days later had a sore throat and stuffy nose, and I presume it was COVID because my brother tested positive with these same symptoms around the same time.
In March, I had horrific chills and fever on and off for a week, and I am unsure what this was, but maybe it was the flu because my boss had the same symptoms around the same time and she said she has the flu. I had no other symptoms except bad chills, on and off fever (99.5-100.6).
In April, I had a low grade fever of 99.5-99.9 for 3 days on and off, and no other symptoms and went away. And now, in May, I've had an on and off fever of 99.5-100 for 2-3 days so far. Advil barely seems to work because I take two tablets and I don't really feel different. I have no other symptoms. It's concerning me because I don't usually have fevers except when I'm really sick. Since the new year, it randomly developed. I am unsure if it's linked to my period, because most times these happened a week or two before my period, and since I was a teenager I had chills before my period but never a fever.
I've also developed redness in my face, similar to the butterfly rash, but not? It's just slight blush, as if I put on makeup, and it's random. It developed about 2-3 years ago but I'm not sure if this is genetic or maybe something more. I plan to go to my general practitioner soon, but I wanted to ask you guys as well what this could be. Thanks in advance
