King’s asked for clarification about my subjects after giving me an offer — normal or bad sign?

Hi everyone, I’m stressing a bit and wanted some opinions.

I received a conditional offer from King’s College London and I’ve already met the conditions academically (90%+ overall + English requirement completed).

My school allows students to take 4 ISC subjects instead of the traditional 5 if they meet internal requirements, and several students in my batch did this officially through the school.

After I uploaded my final marksheet, King’s emailed asking for clarification about why I took 4 subjects. I replied immediately explaining the school policy and that it’s an approved structure at my school.

The thing is… it’s now been 3 days and they haven’t replied yet, and I’m starting to overthink everything 😭

What’s confusing me:

  • They already gave me the offer with my subjects listed
  • Their ISC requirements never specifically said 5 subjects were mandatory
  • They didn’t say there was a problem, only asked for clarification

Has anyone had universities ask for clarification after giving an offer and then take a few days to respond? Is 3 days normal for admissions teams or should I actually be worried?

Would really appreciate any advice because the waiting is killing me lol
