F/m26 results and UCAS pls help guys

Hello,
I have received my A level results for Feb March 2026 in India
I have met my Firm choice Edinburgh’s offer requirements which was AAA and i have gotten A*AA

I have heard the results get sent to UCAS automatically and on the results day you can see on UCAS whether you’ve been accepted or wtv
But that is not the case with me?????
So i sent them the Electronic statement of results because that is literally all i have !
The original mark sheet is expected by June end.

The uni is assuming that im sitting in May June and will get results in August automatically?????????
But why aren’t they getting my Feb march results ??
Pls help guys
this is my only option and i’ve MET THE REQUIREMENT!!!!!!!!!!
i’m so scared pls help.

please advice? is it too late? please 😭

I rejected a radiography offer (I hate physics and I have an aversion to physical patient interaction and healthcare) and applied for law undergrad as it aligned more with my strengths and my passions - I got an offer from uni of Birmingham (I was told it was okay) .. but to keep medicine and other paths open considering how competitive law is and from what I've seen an undergrad degree is effectively useless now in the UK because of the SQE should I try and apply for pharmacy? I messaged Cardiff and they were still open so I'm writing a new personal statement as we speak.

I truly need some advice I've been crying about this decision for months because I don't know what to do and I might be ruining and wasting my life like I wasted the past few years :( im already turning 21 in sep and this will be my first degree 🫩 T-T

its already end of may AHHHHHHH

I will obviously still try for medicine in clearing but that's almost impossible and my UCAT score is horrendous even if it's the third time >//<

im so sorry for any aggressive tone issues im panicking but thank you so much if you read this!

trying to choose a uk law school as a canadian — would appreciate honest advice

hi everyone,

i’m a canadian student planning to start my llb in the uk in september 2026, and thankfully i’ve now received offers from all the universities i applied to:

- university of birmingham

- university of manchester

- university of exeter

- university of sheffield

- university of leicester

now i’m honestly struggling a lot with which university to choose, especially because i’m still not 100% sure whether i want to stay in the uk after graduating or return to canada and complete the accreditation process there. i know a lot can change over the next few years, so i’m trying to choose a university that would work well for both paths.

one thing i’ve realized is that sometimes there’s a difference between a university having prestige/reputation online versus what people who actually live in the uk think about it. like sometimes a university can technically rank well or have prestige, but people locally may not actually see it as that strong of a uni overall. as a canadian, it’s hard for me to really understand that side of things, which is why i wanted perspectives from people actually in the uk.

for example, university of leicester seems to have a surprisingly strong canadian alumni community from what i’ve seen. i’ve spoken to multiple canadian lawyers who went there and came back to canada successfully. because of that, leicester almost feels like a safer/more practical choice if i know for sure i’m returning to canada. however, i’m not sure how strong it would be comparatively if i decided to stay and build a legal career in the uk instead.

on the other hand, exeter seems very respected and prestigious academically from what i’ve seen online, but back home in canada it definitely does not have the same name recognition as somewhere like manchester or birmingham. meanwhile, manchester and birmingham both seem to carry stronger overall/global recognition, even to people outside the uk.

another big factor for me is employability if i stay in the uk. as an international student, i’d realistically need to land a role at a firm large enough to sponsor a visa after graduating, so reputation, recruitment opportunities, networking, and employability matter a lot to me. living costs are also a factor, especially because manchester is one of the more expensive options overall from my list.

from a uk perspective, which of these universities would you personally choose for law, and why? are any of them viewed significantly better/worse for legal recruitment, reputation, opportunities, or overall student experience? and if you were in my situation trying to keep both the “stay in the uk” and “return to canada” options open, which university do you think makes the most sense?

oops…

Well I just got an email from Edinburgh and they’re contacting me about my estranged parents (I don’t have estranged parents), it seems that for some unknown reason i’ve put that on my ucas. Does anyone know what I do?

also didn’t know what flair to use

Who to firm/insurance? (Engineering)

Got 4/5 offers (Edinburgh rejected), really liked Strathclyde and Queen's, seems very friendly and good cities/decent living costs, but I'm flipping the coin with Manchester as well. The reason being I want to keep my French up to potentially work abroad and Manchester has included some language B2 modules, although I'm aware you can take optional classes outside of your course at uni.

I'm on track for AAB from my mocks damn physics. Manchester AAA, Strathclyde BBB 1st yr/AAB 2nd yr entry, Queen's ABB got contextual offer plus some bursary if I go there. Not really considering Birmingham at the moment. I'm currently taking maths, physics, french and I'm looking for good grad opportunities, w decent social life/costs.

Ps would it be better to do bachelor's at a smaller uni then master's at a more well known uni for better employment chances or vice versa? Looking for any advice on this.

Clearing

I feel like there’s a very strong possibility that I miss my offers and will have to enter clearing. Is it better if I just try for resits or try and find a place through clearing. Any clearing stories or experiences would be very appreciated. ps I feel like I won’t be able to find any even decent unis through clearing so the idea of it doesn’t appeal to me

Poor grades first year reapplying to new uni

So I’m withdrawing from my current uni after completing year 1

I’m reapplying via UCAS to new UNIS restarting in first year

So I’m getting like 2:2 for my 3 modules and for my mandatory If i’m lucky I’ll scape a pass.

My a level are good enough. Just cos I get contextual offer + EPQ grade reduction.

So am I fucked cos my uni grades are shit?

Personal Statement

This might be silly but I’m a mature student and didn’t take the traditional route in education. I applied to start university 2026, and was rejected from all 5 options (DHT) 😢. This was first applying so not really sure how it goes but do you have to re write the whole personal statement? I was planning on tweaking it anyways as I was rejected and clearly need some improvement.

UCAS 2027 entry applications

I'm currently looking on UCAS search at courses for 2027 entry, and saw that the Psychology course for King's College London was no longer accepting applications from those regions (I'm a UK student). They haven't updated the course page for 2027 entry on the actual King's website, so I'm just a bit confused, are they definitely not accepting students from the UK for 2027 entry? I hope they'll update their course page soon

How important is the UCAS reference really?

I really need advice because I’m genuinely stressed 😭

I’m applying through UCAS for Architecture (Bachelor’s) at Manchester Metropolitan University, and my teacher/referee is not replying to me at all. I need a reference but I’m basically being ignored.

My question is: can I still submit my application without the reference first? And will this seriously affect my chances of getting accepted?

I have a very strong portfolio, so I’m wondering if the portfolio can make up for the missing reference or if the reference is extremely important.

Has anyone been in a similar situation before? Could universities reject me just because of this?

Please someone reply because I’m honestly panicking

Where should I apply to for 2027 entry

I want to apply to either economics, economics&philosophy or PPE. First 2 being my preference though.

I achieved 9987777666 at GCSE (8 maths 7 English language). Predicted 2 astars in economics, English literature and A in maths (I still have to time to change my maths prediction since we have now started y13 content). Context: I think I’m contextual for some unis but not all and I also have extenuating circumstances for my GCSEs.

Because of my ‘low’ GCSEs I’m think of applying to economics as a high entrance exam score may make me more competitive but none of the unis I want to apply to (except from UCL) require it/consider it for contextual applicants and the test is extremely difficult anyways. Or should I better my chances and apply to less competitive economics joint degrees (this is for the super competitive unis though). Is it risky to apply to 2 different courses? Could a strong personal statement increase my chances at top unis?

Unis I’m considering: UCL, Warwick, Bath, Bristol, Leeds, Manchester and Durham. I also don’t know what a good safety is, not too safe I wouldn’t want to go.

Norland College vs University of Buckingham

Got all my decisions back and I have been accepted into 2 schools, which I never thought would say YES! Now I don't know what to do. They both have pros and cons...

BA Early Years Education + Diploma

Norland College (best UK childcare university)

Tuition fees = £17,500 (3 year course)

\+1 year placement year childcare

BA Psychology

University of Buckingham

ONLY 2 year UK university

Tuition fees = 13875 (2 year course)

\+ option to take MA Early Childhood Education and Care (Online)

Really grateful for the opportunities but stuck and need to make a decision fast because of student finance.

Any help would be much appreciated! :)
