Hi all! I am newer to sewing, and I am obsessed with sewing clothes for my daughter. I am interested in getting a serger as most of the fabrics are knits.

I was fully about to treat myself to a new brother 1034DX but recently saw this Janome serger & cover stitch for $250 in what looks like perfect condition. The owner did say it work perfectly fine and even had the owners manual in a binder. I know the machine has been out of production for a while and it was difficult to find replacement parts, but I also found a website that had replacement parts. Just looking for more opinion on if I should take the risk and purchase.
