Hello, I am fairly new to typewriters and I need your advice. I've recently got a 1970 Hermes Baby but the typing is off. I cleaned it thoroughly, tried various ribbons. I found somewhere I could try playing with the Ring & Cylinder adjustment, On Feet, and Motion adjustment, if I am correct. But I can't find anywhere where the adjustments are in this particular typewriter... Can you help me, please?
I am adding a photo of how it types. The upper part is with 2 papers of 80g weight, the other is with just one sheet of the same paper. You can see that some letters are shaded in their upper part (k, f, ?, ä, ü, ě, š...), which applies to both uppercase and lowercase letters. Also, when I am changing between uppercase and lowercase, the first uppercase seems to be always weird. And one additional thing, when I am writing ˇ or ´, it just creates a "hole" in the paper, but leaves no ink.
I don't really know which of the adjustments are those I need to look into, nor where to find them... I also know that the platen is kind of hard, so maybe it's related to this issue?
