Hello I’m 19 and urgently need money because my mother does not have enough to pay the bills. I have proof of being in the negatives and credit debt due to my previous bills. Literally if I survive this month we’re back okay because of work. Please help.
Hey, I’m appealing my OSAP restriction (A1) through York University and wanted some advice.
My grades dropped during the 2025–2026 year due to serious family issues (parents going through a legal dispute/divorce affecting me and younger siblings). It started around April 2025 and continued through the school year, so I struggled with focus and keeping up.
I have:
• Doctor’s note confirming mental health + academic impact
• Court documents showing the case (filed Oct 2025)
• Explanation letter + plan to improve
Do I have a decent chance of getting my restriction lifted? Anyone been in a similar situation?
