I remember watching it a couple months ago, when it released. I believe it was animated over real life footage someone took of a street in Japan. It was done in a sorta vlog style video, where the character just got food and recorded interesting things like statues and stuff. The character had maybe black/blue-ish hair, and the video was around 10 minutes long.
