My son 5yoM and I are traveling for a quick trip to NYC to attend a graduation ceremony for my husband. We only need a car seat for the car ride from Newark to our AirbNB in Jersey city. We will be taking public transit the two full days we are there. I do not want to lug by myself his full car seat with me. I did that in February and will never do that again. But I don’t need to rent on me since we aren’t getting a rental car. I googled and see uber has car seats available for that airport. Or should I roll the dice and take a booster even though he is still too small for one? I think the Airbnb is 5 miles from Newark. He is 43 inches and 36lbs. Google also mentioned kidmoto. I haven’t heard of that. Any experiences or advice is greatly appreciated.
