Withdrawal from Role

Hello everyone,

I would like to ask a question regarding withdrawing from a role with the MOJ after already being given a start date. I have recently been offered another opportunity that is better suited to my long-term career goals, and I am considering accepting it instead.

Would I be allowed to withdraw at this stage, and would doing so negatively affect any future opportunities with the MOJ? I would appreciate any advice or insight.

Hi everyone, I have an upcoming interview for a Band 3 Outpatients/Ward Clerk role and I’d really appreciate any advice.

I don’t have direct NHS experience, but I currently work as a Teaching Assistant in an SEN school where I handle sensitive information, support individuals with additional needs, and manage administrative tasks. I also have previous front desk/admin experience.

For anyone who’s been through a similar interview or works in outpatient/admin roles:
- What kind of questions should I expect?
- What do interviewers look for most at Band 3 level?
- Any tips on how to stand out against candidates who already have NHS experience?

I’d really appreciate any advice or things you wish you knew before your interview. Thank you!
