Entered Vegas Game 1 winner at 39¢, currently sitting at 82¢. Anyone else tracking NHL playoff contracts?
Picked up 100 shares of Vegas at Colorado Game 1 winner at 39¢ earlier today. Vegas was a heavy road underdog and the contract was priced accordingly.
Currently at 82¢. +42¢ move. The chart was flat all day then spiked hard once the game started going Vegas’s way.
What’s interesting is sportsbook sharp money was actually leaning Vegas before tip despite the odds. The line moved from +165 to +145 on the sharp side before puck drop. The Kalshi contract was still sitting at 39¢ which implied way more value than the sportsbooks were pricing.
That divergence between sportsbook sharp money and prediction market pricing has been a consistent pattern this playoffs. The prediction markets seem to lag behind sportsbook line movement by 30-60 minutes on game day.
Anyone else seeing this? Are you tracking NHL playoff contracts or mostly focused on NBA right now?
