I am trying to remove this shower fixing plate but it seems stuck, and I do not want to force it. It wasn’t screwed in the first place and there doesn’t seem to be any silicone or adhesive (I can pass a thin knife between the plate and the tiles).

How do these fixing plates look like in the back of it? Any advice on how to remove this safely would be appreciated. Is there a risk I lose the pipes by removing it ?

I’m replacing this with a black shower.
