I just ordered a speed queen TR7 top load washer. The appliance store informed me that there is a one month backorder delay because there was an incident at the factory. Apparently, now they are back in production and catching up. Does anyone know what happened at the factory? Should I be concerned about the quality of the product due to this incident?
Luckily I managed to get my rooftop solar panels operational just before the December 2025 deadline for the federal tax credit. I filed my taxes in February claiming the solar tax credit, resulting in a five figure refund. After four weeks, I got a notice saying I need to confirm my identity to the IRS, so I promptly did so on a gov website. I decided to call the IRS and ask what the story was with the delay. The rep told me that the earliest I would receive my refund was June 1, but if there were any issues in addition to identity, it probably wouldn’t be until the end of the summer until I got my refund. Given the hostility of the current administration to green energy I am wondering if the solar tax credit tax refund is being deliberately slow walked. Is anyone else experiencing a similar situation?
