Rex was one of the first I changed. The first image is his current design, the second was the one before my drawing improved even more. I wanted him to look like brawler but gauntlets didn’t seem to fit as he primarily uses kicks in combat. While they do offer protection, they’d just slow him down when he could’ve just dodged. So I removed them in exchange for pants similar to that of a Capoeira practitioner.

If a tacet mark was on/just above a resonator’s ass, would it glow as you give her backshots?

One of the things that hooked me onto the show was abstraction. How it worked, could it be undone, and what would the actual transformation look like. Never really got an answer.

I’m especially a bit frustrated at the scene where Jax abstracts, or lack thereof. It’s just a hard cut to before and after. We don’t see a transformation, or even the initial terror his abstracted form probably caused the cast as they try to hide.

My best theory so far is that abstraction is basically the brain files of the characters being corrupted in some way which I guess happens if they’re in a certain emotional state.

That begs the question though, why doesn’t Caine save copies of those files just in case? He clearly has the power to mess with their files directly by making Jax vegan and however the stupid sauce works, and he’s reused assets before. A simple copy and paste every day, or even every week wouldn’t hurt.
