Anecephaly baby
At 12 weeks, scanned showed acrania and techs struggles to get a good side profile. At 14 weeks, I (22y) got rescanned (2 transabdominal and one intravaginal), and they confirmed the side profile was abnormal. I got referred to a MFM high risk ob for an anatomy scan where they confirmed Anecephaly secondary to acrania. Yesterday, I went in for a D&E 16w 6d. I’m absolutely heartbroken as this would’ve been my first baby. Today I’m post-op day 1 and it still feels unreal I walked out of the hospital without meeting baby boy😢.
