Regret Signing a lease with my partner and their roommate
Hey y'all I need advice or at least rant. I (28f) and BF(28m) decided to move in together. He asked if his (30m) roommate could movie in with us. I was hesitant since I e never had roommates before. I've been living by myself for 5 years now, but I said sure no problem. I did ask how their roommate situation was. My bf said they each kept to themselves and had their own stuff. So i inclined and agreed to have his roommate move in too.
Well it's move in time. Im asking my partner where should we place cups, plates etc. He now brings up that him and his roommate share almost everything. They share cups, plates, Cutlery, pots and pans and they dont share food. I have an issue with this. I like want to keep my stuff for me only and obviously my partner. I dont want to share anything with his roommate. I dont know much about him nor have I spent time with him for him to be my friend. My bf and his roommate have known each other since high school which I think would make them close friends.? Anyhow.
Am I insane for asking my bf to tell his roommate that he should get his own stuff. Cups, plates, cutlery, bowls, spices etc. There's so much more that I dont think I really considered. But I won't be able to wear shorts be bra free. Im having major regrets right now.
