Accessibility form response

How long or close to the festival does it take to get a response from TML after you have submitted the accessibility form?

I did mine nearly two weeks ago and I didn’t get a receipt confirmation or response and the W1 deadline is tomorrow for MG.

Anyone applied this year heard anything yet? Or can anyone who applied others tell me what to expect 🙏🏻

Thanks in advance! 😊

MPFL + TTO and living alone with stairs

TLDR: Waiting on MPFL + TTO surgery and I live alone with no one able to care for me post surgery, the only toilet I have access to is up a set of stairs. How can I manage?
I have no money for alternative accommodation.

Hey guys,

I’m 32 and have had recurring kneecap dislocations on my right knee for about 17 years, my latest dislocation isn’t really hurting so much after it went back in but it won’t stay it and I could literally pull it out with my hand. I also now have osteoarthritis as a result of the injuries.

After years of being told I just need to do ✨physio✨ (I legit acutely dislocated my kneecap the day I finished on course), I have finally been properly investigated and they found that I have:
- slight patella alta
- TT-TG 15
- mild valgus legs
- my patella tracks in a lateral J motion
- a bipartite patella that is about 60/40 split
- trochlear dysplasia
- an MPFL like an overstretched hairband

So yeah a little bit of everything and a kneecap with an apparent anxious-avoidant attachment style 🥲

I live in the UK and due to my injury I am now unable to work (0hr contacts in events and hospitality).

Anyway I have been told that it’s going towards TTO and MPFL reconstruction (they are doing final checks) and I’m all for it to get my life and confidence back.

The problem is that I have no idea how I’m going to look after myself after surgery, on the NHS in the UK they make you leave the hospital the same day as your surgery.

I currently live in a non social house-share (so basically alone). My boyfriend lives in another country and his work (and mortgage) doesn’t give him any flexibility.

On top of that the toilets are up steep stairs (my room is ground floor) and the stairs have poor lighting at night.

I don’t have money to get alternative accommodation and parents are not an option.

Any tips on what I can do and how I can manage? 🙏🏻
