I made a Creative Mode for Minecraft Alpha 1.2.3_04
Hi! I made a Creative Mod for Minecraft Alpha 1.2.3_04. This version never had a Creative Mode, so I decided to make one.
Features
- Mode switching: a "Mode: Survival / Creative" button on the world selection screen and in the pause menu. Singleplayer only.
- No damage: falling, mobs, fire, lava, and drowning can't hurt you. If you fall into the void, you are teleported back up instead of dying.
- Instant block breaking: every block can be broken instantly, including bedrock, without dropping items.
- Infinite items: stacks never decrease, and tools and weapons never lose durability.
- Flying: double-tap the jump key to toggle flying. Use Jump to go up and Sneak to go down.
Basically, all the basic Creative Mode features.
- Creative inventory:
- Blocks and Items tabs with scrolling.
- Left-click to take a full stack, right-click to take one item, and Shift + click to send it directly to your inventory.
- Keys 1–9 place an item directly into the corresponding hotbar slot.
- A "Clear" button empties your entire inventory.
I think this mod can be particularly useful for creating maps and building in Alpha.
Installation
The mod is distributed as a pre-modded Minecraft Alpha 1.2.3_04 JAR.
You can use it with BetaCraft or Prism Launcher. Simply place the JAR file in the appropriate versions folder:

%appdata%/.betacraft/versions - Prism Launcher:
%appdata%/.minecraft/versions
Then launch the Alpha 1.2.3_04 version using your launcher.
