Seven Seas Baihe Release dates and blurbs!

7s have finally added their new baihe novels to their site after like a month 😭 Legend of Metempsychosis, the danmei announced at the same event, was immediately added, but the baihe only now. I had assumed it was taking them a bit longer because they were setting up a website for baihe like the danmei website, and adding editing their main website to include baihe as one of their imprints, but it seems they haven't gotten around to it yet. They're probably busy with all the conventions, but I hope they get to it soon, because it really is starting to feel like baihe is an afterthought.

As for the details, it all looks very exciting. Only Matrilocal Marriage has a fully written blurb at this point (most of it is cut off in the screenshot), but I hope they edit it before final release as it reads a bit awkward. Miss Forensics and Wandering Spirit Lady just have short little blurbs at this point, which will probably be expanded as we approach release. We'll probably only recieve more details once 7s reveals the cover, as thats usually when they announce things like volume count, page count, translators and interior artists.

Break in the Clouds and Hunt for the Leviathan US and digital rights acquired by Rosmei

It seems alongside their two new Huai Shang novels, they were also able to get US and digital rights for their two already published Huai Shang novels. I wonder what other titles they were able to expand in this way? Also, when will they release the rest of their books on publang? So far its only been Art thou Ailing and KoK, even though they have ebook rights for already published titles like tailhook.

Faraway Wanderers and Lord Seventh are now open for licensing and multiple publishers are bidding for them

Crossed Hearts (a new danmei publisher), revealed on their discord that they are actively pursuing Lord Seventh and Faraway Wanderers licenses from JJWXC. The two titles haven't been available for licensing previously, but after priest went in and revised them last year, they've become available for publishers in feb of 2026, with the offer period ending this month. Apparently other publishers are interested and it might become a competitive bidding process.

Also another interesting tidbit, Crossed Hearts is also pursuing several Baihe titles, and apparently there's virtually no competition, and all the most popular baihe titles people have requested from 7s (her mountain, her ocean/ the dragon/ reading the remnants/ miss forensics), all remain unlicensed, so what in the hell is 7s getting for their new Baihe label?? Its been like 4 months!
