I'm planning to buy a new dishwasher and have it shortlisted:
IFB Neptune SX 16 Place – ₹63k
Bosch Series 6 SMS6HMI00I – ₹64k
LG DFB435FM – ₹65.5k

My priority is hard water performance and long-term reliability.
I used a Midea dishwasher for the last 5 years. After moving to a new apartment, I started getting heavy limescale on utensils and glasses. Some days it cleaned perfectly, while other days it didn't. I tried different salt settings, dishwasher salt, rinse aid, and tablets, and even spent ₹5k replacing the complete salt unit, but nothing helped, so I eventually sold it.
Last September, I measured water hardness at around 150 ppm, while the TDS was around 700 ppm. Recently, the TDS is around 400 ppm, but I haven't checked the hardness yet. Since our apartment uses tanker water, these values keep changing.
I was almost set on Bosch, but someone in my apartment with a Bosch Series 6 also reported limescale issues, so now I'm considering IFB and LG as well.
For people using these models in hard-water areas:

- Do you still see white spots/limescale even with dishwasher salt?
