I am building a tool which is able to deep dive and let an account executive of any kind know about a company with a deeper context...

I know my product is solving a problem for sure, My question is, how do I actually validate the industry where it's main requirment is? Should I focus on one industry or let it be a generic tool for multiple industries?

Should I focus on a "niche" when my product is capable of solving a problem not just horizontally but also vertically?

I saw a post where he didn't focus on a niche and focused on showing spreading the word on all types of channels and websites... Should I do the same?
