Hello, I know this is probably not the best place to ask for medical advice, but I would like some advice from someone who knows more then me.
I've struggled with self-harm for almost a decade on and off, so I have my fair share of cuts and I know the proper care needed for them. My latest relapse I went a bit harder then I have in the past and I have a cut that won't close? It's been a day now. It stopped bleeding when it was expected to and it hasn't started bleeding again since, but it hasn't scabbed over yet. I don't know if this is a normal thing for it to do and just keep it clean and let it heal, or if this requires more help then I can give.
Sorry of this is an inappropriate ask and I'll delete it if it is. I just don't know who else to talk to about this, and am dreading the idea of having to ask for medical help and how that might go.
