[TOMT] Today I saw an older male actor who I immediately recognised but cannot work out who he is.

He is probably now in his 70s (with white/grey hair, reasonably tall / not short), white and British.

He isn’t a superstar actor but has played in lots of good films. Often plays a sort of naïf / innocent / ‘nice chap’ role, always upper class.

I’ve checked the cast for these films and couldn’t find him but he could easily have been in a film/series like Brideshead Revisited, any Le Carré adaption, Inspector Morse / something set in Oxford or Cambridge, MI5/spy type thriller.
