I (29F) lost my dad on February 22 to cancer, although it was sudden and I happened to be in the room when it happened. I took it hard and hid away from everyone in my life including eventually breaking up with my partner (40M) who loved me more than the world at the end of March. Last week that partner died of an aneurysm golfing. He played the biggest role in getting me through the weeks after my father’s passing and now I feel so lost. And guilty. And angry.
Any perspective on cumulative grief?
Any perspective on losing someone shortly after breaking up with them and the associated guilt?
