Hi Reddit. I’m a 21 y/o female seeking employment.

My job experience is all over the place (lifeguarding, admin, retail, fast food). I’m currently working on obtaining a bachelors degree in software engineering and have been unemployed since August 2025.

I am so totally lost with the job market in this state. I’ve been applying all over, online and in-person! So far nothing. No one writes or calls back. I’ve changed my resume up a few times, dress appropriately, maintain good hygiene, practice for interviews, have consistent transportation etc. but I can’t seem to get my foot through anyone’s door.

I’m a hard worker. I hold myself to high standards no matter what I’m doing. I’ve always been someone who’s very flexible and open to new experiences. I really want to work, I don’t enjoy having nothing to do and with the end of my semester coming up, I feel dreadful.

If anyone has any suggestions or can point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it. I don’t have a social network in my life so thank you to anyone who read this far :)

Edit: Thank you to everyone who left leads or tips for me! I was feeling really pessimistic about our collective economic future and wondering if I even made the right decision to study right now. I feel much more confident about my prospects.

I found a post titled “LF: Looking for exchange of spy vids/pics” with the caption “Hope for relatives…”.

I screenshotted this thread quickly just in case it was taken down. Some comments were already deleted.

What remained was the OP’s discord handle and a telegram handle someone else had shared.

Is this some sort of joke? Is there some underground community of people trading nude photos of their family members around?

I’m not sure if the thread is still up, or if posting the discord/telegram handles here would be doxxing?

Update: I went back and found the thread. Apparently Reddit has auto translated it for me. Does anyone know what language this is? Never mind
