HELP!!! My first graft.

So, it's my first time trying to graft lophophora. I left it for 10 days with pressure, when I took the tape and elastic band of, noticed the brow part of the scion.

It feels like it is stuck to the root stock and the top isn't soft or anything, but the brown part seems to be growing (between pic 2 and 4)

There hasn't been enough time to be sure if it is growing.

I didn't use anything like cinnamon to prevent fungal growth. ( I know I should have)

Should I try to regraft it???

Would really love the opinion of more experienced people.
