If a woman stranger came up to you and told you "You're one of the most attractive guys I've ever seen in my life, and you seem really nice. Here's my number if you're ever interested, no pressure", would that creep you out?

I'm shy. I'm also oblivious as to when men are put-off by something and find it unwelcome, or just reacting awkwardly from shock but still enjoyed an interaction. They legit have always looked the same to me, and I've always assumed the former by default. So I stopped giving compliments or starting conversations with guys who are total strangers.
But I recently saw a guy alone at the train station and my jaw legit almost dropped from how attractive I found him. I almost went up to him to say what I quoted in the title of this post + hand him my number, but I chickened out.
So now I'm wondering, how would you guys probably react?
