My account was permanently suspended this morning. I've had my account for 6 years, have never had a warning or strike or anything whatsoever.
I run a discord with 2000+ members. I was replying to one this morning and was trying to reply with a gif that I thought I copied, to paste. I instead pasted a different meme from a different group chat I'm in. it got autodeleted instantly, and i got a DM from discord with a warning and a message that my media privileges were revoked for 48 hours. no problem.
5 minutes later, while doing nothing, I got hit with another violation and my account got permanently killed instantly. and I've been frantically trying to get in touch with someone since. my entire business is run through my discord, and my account manages all of the perms within in. I am completely fucked without it.
the meme I accidentally sent (truly, completely by accident) was inappropriate but I don't even get the child safety implications because I don't even think there's a child in it? either way man it happened in a millisecond, was completely accidental, and I promise you my lesson is learned.
lastly - even if they say fuck you, nothing we can do. my final ask would be... can I get it back for 5 minutes, so I can grant perms to one of my moderators, so I can at least fix the waterfall effects from this?
