I know that having it recorded wouldn't really do anything because they were stealing and don't wanna go to prison or be killed by Arasaka, but surely as proof for anyone you would tell its good to have right?

I'm honestly surprised there isn't more talk of how with optics it would be worse than the current amount of on demand recording devices.
