Curious about behaviors due to early neutering
My boy (now 10 going on 11! He’s very distinguished as you can see in the pic 😅) was neutered when he was 3 months old. It was the policy of the adoption group I got him from that all dogs and puppies had to be neutered/spayed before they could be taken home by the adopter.
He is the best dog in the world. So chill and sweet, but still with that heeler craziness. He has always peed submissively, and will pee when he sees someone he knows & loves after it’s been a while. This is no big deal, I just greet him outside when I get home from a trip or a long day at work, but I wonder if this behavior (and what others) may be due to the early neutering? Curious of others’ experiences with neutering before 6 months.
