Anyone got limited enrolment offers yet?
The recommended deadline to accept an offer is supposed to be tomorrow but I only got one minor program invite right now (minor is applied stats).

Basically I was offered an interview for a research position in a lab, but upon reviewing the resume I submitted months ago, I realized I accidentally made a claim about a non-existent experience that might be exactly what the employer is looking for.
The opportunity is a research position. I claimed in my resume that I worked with the animal model the employer lab is working with, instead of with the species I actually worked with. I guess I zoned out or something when writing my resume while reading the job posting, but I fear that false claim is exactly what got landed me the interview. It's a genuine mistake that I just discovered.
I have yet to reply to the interview invitation. I'm debating whether I should:
Option A: Reply to the email with something like (paraphrased) "I just realized a mistake in my resume, here's what I meant to say. I'm available during these times if you are still willing to offer me an interview, but I fully understand if this correction might have changed your assessment of me."
Option B: Accept the interview without mentioning the mistake. If on the interview I'm asked about the "experience", I act surprised and act as if I didn't know there was a mistake. If the lack of that specific experience is a deal-breaker, then I don't get the position, fine. If it's not a deal-breaker, then I still have a chance to perform well during the rest of the interview. If I'm not asked, that is the best case scenario.
Or I should do something else?
I'm inclined to go with option A, because option B feels scummy and I don't have confidence in my ability to lie. But this opportunity is very important to my future in the next few years, and B feels like a bigger gamble with a bigger reward, unless I'm reading the situation wrong.
Any guidance is greatly appreciated. Also sorry if I sound inexperienced in employment skills, because I really am.
