Okay so I'm doing MHS specialist and I'm looking for courses I need to take but I haven't found many (or any at all) posts on this subreddit and I'd like some insight

HLTB40 - (Walter Tavares) I've found a couple posts saying to take it with prof. Bytautas which I would cuz I loved having her for A03 and B50 but idk when she'd be teaching it so has anyone taken it with Tavares? and since I'm not a health student but still need this for my program what's the content like? is it reading heavy? lecture based? that kind of stuff

PSYC01 - (Gerald Chaim Cupchik) I've also seen posts saying to take it in the summer with the other prof but idk if I have that option rn...

PSYC34 - (TBA) I know Ravi teaches this and I had B10 with him (and really liked it!!) but do other profs teach it?

my grandpa just confided in me that he wants to take courses at the U of T

This would be all nice and well if it weren't for the fact that grandpa is a grumpy, strange old guy who is friendly and loving and nothing but devoted to those he cares about, but outside of that, he's a bit weird lol. He is the first to start fights with customer service

So I’m taking life science at UTSC and I’m scared that my offer is going to be revoked because of my calculus grade which is at a 73% and a 75% in chemistry 12. All my other grades are mid to high 80s and I’m really hoping that they don’t revoke my offfer. My acceptance letter didn’t give a specific grade to maintain and just said to “maintain current academic standing.” Is it possible that my offer could be revoked? Should I submit the Special Admissions Consideration form and explain my situation?

I’m crashing out because they’re so slow in responding to emails with content that has a financial deadline (it’s passed alr lmao so idek anymore) and the phone line hasn’t been working from my first year here and I can’t go in person because I’m not in toronto

to everyone who took prof mcphees psya02 midterm, how was it? im taking it next week, and ive gone through all her lectures, but im not sure what questions to expect from textbook material. should i focus on just the key terms from the textbook or was her testing really thorough frm the textbook? any tips would be appreciated, thank you!!

first year student here and HISB03H3 is required for my program but it says enrollment blocked, what does this mean and is there anything I should be worried about? Thank you.

hi i'm an incoming first year student in the program psychology and health studies. these are the courses i've selected so far:

PSYA01, PSYA02, PSYA06, ANTA01, ANTA02, HLTA02, LINA01, HISA01, MATA29
can someone give me some advice and suggest a course for my last one (preferably a bird course) some of my options are HLTA20, HLTA03, and SOCA05

For this coming fall, I only need two courses (and C or D level) to graduate. However I have a full time research position which, including commute will occupy my time from 7am-5pm daily. I have found one course which is offered online, but can't find another, so if anyone has any info on if it's possible to finish online lmk

In my defense I hate math so I didn’t take it in high school. Now I am about to take the math preparedness course and guess what! It’s only a month long. So obvs im panicking and I would like to at least know what I need to do.

So i just came across a volunteer for dental cleaning in the campus in the EV building, and i was skeptical at first because there has been a lot of scamming lately, but the volunteer pointed out that dental cleaning is part of the tuition so I decided to talk with him more in depth. I always knew that dental was covered in the tuition and I always wanted to go to a dentist so I kinda wanted to see how things go here. As we spoke more in depth, as I was skeptical to the online form to fill out (it asks for personal info), so I asked the volunteer to bring me to the location of the dental clinic. To my surprise, it was actually legitimate (he brought me to the clinic which was in the campus dining area). Now I have booked an appointment for next Monday, and I was told that I only have to pay 10 dollars for it. Now I have more questions about it. Are there any hidden fees or hidden rules anywhere? (it’s not profitable so i don’t see why they do it) And how is the experience with the dental clinic for anyone who has done it? I searched for posts and they are mostly old posts with mixed opinions about the campus dental. Should I actually go? Let me know!
