I feel like the big hospo groups are causing a drop in the quality of the Welly food scene. A lick of paint on the acquired businesses and some cheap lighting. Chuck some cheap inatrumental music on. Reduce the portion size, make it as bland as possible. The food looks good but all tastes the same. Sometimes it is the same menu with a different title.
Also looking for recommendations of places where the quality is still decent (even if the venues haven't been made "fancy")
Presumably it is still all the same ingredients so how doe expiry work chemically to change the sunblock effectiveness?
