Hi everyone! I don’t have enough karma to post on r/premed so i’ll ask here since i’m part of a BS/DO program. I’m an incoming freshman and my BS/DO program requires me to do 1000 hours of volunteering, so I’ve decided to volunteer at a local adult day care center. I just don’t know if this would count as clinical experience for med schools simultaneously. I do take vitals of the seniors and help them with their walkers etc because I learned how to do that in my HOSA club in high school. But on sdn and asking around, many people say this is considered non-clinical volunteering. Any help would be appreciated!
