I have gone through two retrievals and finally have reached the point where I have one single 4AB embryo available for transfer. I have the ultrasound of my uterine lining on Friday, so there is a possibility that I’ll be starting the IM progesterone injections this weekend. I am terrified that they’re going to hurt. I didn’t do that well with subcut Menopur due to the burning but icing the area beforehand helped. Icing the area is not suggested for the progesterone so I’m wondering if anyone has used a topical lidocaine gel on their bum for the injections. Does it help and did you find one brand worked better than another? Really looking for some advice here!
