I have an HP Victus 16-s1xxx with the specs below, and I’m thinking about upgrading the RAM from 16GB to 64GB.

Current specs:

  • Model: HP Victus by HP Gaming Laptop 16-s1xxx
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS
  • GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4070 8GB
  • RAM: 16GB DDR5 5600 MT/s, 2x8GB
  • SSD: 512GB WD Gen 4 SSD, single slot only

I’m looking at buying this kit from Amazon:

Crucial 64GB kit, 2x32GB, DDR5 5600MHz SODIMM

However, HP’s official site recommends a maximum RAM upgrade of 32GB, so I’m not sure if 64GB will work on my laptop op or not.

Has anyone upgraded this exact model, or a very similar HP Victus 16-s1xxx with Ryzen 7 8845HS, to 64GB RAM?

Also, does anyone know whether the Crucial 64GB 5600MHz DDR5 SODIMM kit works properly with this laptop?

Any recommended suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!
