I have a 2018 accord 2.0T with 127k miles. It’s been a wonderful car for the most part, however every time I shift from reverse to drive as I am leaving my home I hear a clunk sound and it’s a really rough shift. The same happens from park to reverse. The car Idles just fine and the drive is always smooth with the exception of a few jerks at low speeds but I understand that this is normal with the 10AT at low speeds. After some research I found that reving my car to see if the engine got displaced was a good way of determining if the motor mounts were bad, which could be a cause of the clunking . I have attached a video of me doing this. Please help me identify what may be wrong with my car, is it really just the mounts or it’s a transmission issue? or something else.
