Wheel choice WaO Triad Vs Deal

Hi guys !

I’m currently in the process of building a new bike. This bike will be my main analog bike, and I’ll be riding mostly enduro in northern Spain and south of France with it. Each summer I tend to ride around 20 to 25 days of bike park in the alps, and some shuttle enduro session in spring/fall. For reference I’m 90kg and 1m76.

You got it this bike will see a lot of different gravity oriented riding. And I don’t know which wheelset I should go for. My two current choices are WaO Triad and WaO Deal.

The WAO Deal are heavier, maybe more confortable, and seems to be the « mind at peace » option at the sacrifice of climbing ability.

The WAO Triad are almost 400g lighter, which obviously makes them better at climbing, but I’m a bit worried about the durability.

What do you guys think ?

Hi guys !

I’m 26 years old, I fucked up my left knee in September last year while riding (ACL + meniscus), underwent surgery in December, and since then I’m slowly coming back to my past fitness level.

My surgeon gave me the authorisation to ride my enduro and my E-Mtb last week, but on my first ride today I was basically scared by anything, and my technical level was by far the worst it has ever been.

During rehab I only did road biking and went to the gym. That was it.

Any of you have undergone the same process ? How did you guys overcame the « I’m scared of anything » after long pause ? Any tips ?

PS: I have two enduro races in October that I want to do. But I’m not sure I’ll be able to.

Thank you guys !
