Is 2 weeks not wearing toric contact lens enough time before measuring for IOLs?

I have worn contact lenses for 54 years, first the hard lenses, then gas permeable and finally when soft toric lenses were developed for astigmatism, soft lenses. When scheduling my appointment to have my eyes examined and measured prior to cataract surgery, I was told if I wore contacts to stop 2 weeks prior so corneas can return to normal shape. I was not asked if one or both eyes had toric lenses. I have since heard that one should go longer than 2 weeks if a toric contact lense is worn. My right eye is corrected with a toric lens. I have one more week before my appointment. Should I ask to be rescheduled or do I not worry about it? The clinic is modern using latest technology and highly respected.
