I got this gorgeous 2.2L diesel Accord 2009 8th gen about 10 months ago, and I’m just in love.

But one thing that bothers me is that the steering wheel seems to be significantly stiffer than any other cars I’ve driven. Apparently mine uses EPS, and not servo fluid, which rules out low fluid. Whenever the asphalt gets a bit uneven, I’m fighting the wheel.

I’ve got all my wheels aligned etc, but still all this time it’s been a lot harder to turn than the average steering wheel. I can drive with one hand, but it’s really not practical because of how much force it takes.

Is anyone familiar with this issue?
