What should I focus on going forward?
Was told about timing chain and valve adjustment are the biggest concerns.

As it states. It's hard to gauge from users on here if the 2.0t will grenade at 80k even with proper maintenance.
Some say it will, some say it won't.
I have 55k on it and put about 7k on it a year.
Major things done to it so far :
Replaced battery at 30k.
New tires at 53k
Transmission flush at 45k.
I have a 2019 hybrid touring. Other than 19" summer wheels (all season tires) (I keep the stocks with winter tires for NE weather). I haven't done any modification to the suspension. I had a bad experience with my 05 civic, it spun out on me taking one of these turns around ~25-30mph.
I feel like the Accord has a lot of body roll when turning into on ramps. Would a front strut bar help the car feel more stable? Or what else would help?
After 91,000 miles (21 Accord Sport 2.0t), I guess it’s my turn to have this issue. It just randomly started yesterday morning. Never had issues before. Obviously it’s the digitizer that’s the problem, so I guess I’ll just replace that. Worst case, get a used infotainment screen. They’re plentiful. It’s an easy fix and who knows, maybe the aftermarket digitizer is more reliable than the OEM one. Aftermarket parts are better sometimes. It’s not like it’s a highly tuned iPhone digitizer.
Will be driving 4 others who will equal out to around 930lbs before luggage (which should be light). does the title seem reasonable if the car is rather new and weather is decent?
Hi guys, so yesterday me and my friend were having an argument on which Honda Accord looks the best. Is it the 9.5th gen or the 10th gen, the front end? And he said the 10th gen front looks much better than the 9.5th gen. And I told him, no, the 9.5th gen looks just more appealing and like looks more correct because if you were to look at the 10th gen from a different angle, it just doesn't look as good as the 9.5th gen. In general, 9.5th gen, it looks much better than the 10th gen. I don't know why we’re arguing though, then he brought out the argument that, because 10th gen has a better interior, it means like it is the better looking car. And he was saying the 9.5th gen has an outdated interior, which was not true, which was a coping mechanism that I did not understand. So I would like you guys' opinion. , I know they have posted this kind of thing on here before, but like, this is just for me, just clarify it.
Hi everyone, I posted here about a week ago asking for advice on harness repair. I took my car to the dealership and got harness repair as the solution to multiple dashboard lights and clicking sound on the brakes. They also told me to do some other maintenance stuff. I got a second opinion from a local mechanic. I chose to do the harness repair from the local mechanic after they did a free second opinion and other minor maintenance stuff.
Picked up the car then an hour later we were right back to where we started with the dashboard lights. I took it back to them and they ran another diagnostic and said the ABS has failed and quoted me 3k+ for new ABS & labor.
Now I don’t know what to do. The dealership did offer me $9-10k for trade in multiple times (assuming they offer this to everyone) and I haven’t really explored it. I don’t have car payments and would want to avoid but I also want a reliable car. I’m going to school come January next year and will be driving 1hr+ couple of times a month. We get lots of snow where I am and I just don’t want to be in a position where my car is broken or God forbid not able to brake.
So I didn’t plan on spending 3k on car repairs this year. I’m not sure if I should focus on the repairs or consider trading in.
Looking for advice. Let me know your thoughts. Thank you!
Haven’t posted here in a while but I had a place where I wanted to take pics and it turned out pretty nice
I recently sold my 5.7 v8 jeep and bought a 2019 Honda accord sport with the 1.5t and cvt. Definitely not as good of a powertrain but it’s saving me a lot of money.
I’m into cars, performance stuff, etc. I’m hoping y’all can give advice on what I could do to improve the reliability / longevity of my engine and transmission.
I’m also wondering if anyone has advice on tuning the 1.5t. I know it isn’t the most capable power train, but I’m wondering if anyone knows anything about tuning the 1.5t to get 220-260 horsepower out of it. I would appreciate a meaningful power improvement without negatively impacting longevity / reliability.

Hey everyone,
A lot of users from my previous CarPlay post requested OBD2 support, so after a lot of work, the feature is finally live in Speedometer: Driving Tracker.
You can now see and analyze real-time OBD2 vehicle data directly from CarPlay, iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch (via live activity).
One thing I personally found really interesting while testing was seeing how different driving styles affect engine behavior throughout an entire trip, not just live gauges while driving.
For example, things like:
• Engine Load
• RPM
• Throttle Position
• Coolant & Oil Temperature
• Fuel Usage
• Mass Air Flow
• Intake/Ambient Air Temperature
• And more
I added a sample trip summary screenshot below showing how the app now visualizes engine performance for a drive.
It even works with automatic trip recording through Shortcuts automations (when OBD2 device is connected), so trips can start recording automatically without manually opening the app.
One important note: every car exposes different OBD2 sensors, so some vehicles may not provide all data points shown in the screenshot.
The goal wasn’t just to make another OBD2 gauge app, but to make driving history and car data feel more visual, insightful, and actually enjoyable to revisit later.
Other existing features in the app:
• CarPlay trip tracking
• 3D route playback
• Speed-colored trip replay
• Video recording with speed + map overlays
• Fuel, maintenance, and expense tracking
• Vehicle-based analytics & comparisons
• iCloud sync across Apple devices
• Privacy-first experience (no ads/tracking/signups)
Now it’s becoming one of the most comprehensive driving tracker apps available on any platform, whether iOS or Android! (iOS version is live, Android version is in progress)
Would genuinely love feedback from fellow car enthusiasts on what data, analytics, or visualizations you’d like to see next.
I know. 4 years and 120k miles on it. Unbelievable. Dealer (gmc/buick) is asking around $20k for it. Not sure if it will last at least 6 more years without any major problems. I’m a student just looking for the most reliable, fuel efficient car and this doesn’t seem half bad to me but what do I know.
Do you guys think this is fine? What should I tell the Honda dealer down the street to check during a ppi?
I don’t trust any dealership is selling a used car “as is” but I do trust a mechanic who probably doesn’t give a shit about the dealer selling a car or not
Hi, y'all. I figured this would be a better place than any to ask. I have a 1998 Honda Accord EX sedan with the 3.0 VTEC (not sure how much that matters to the question), and I was looking at replacing the suspension. Something semi budget friendly, focusing mostly on comfort and not performance based driving. Does anyone have any recommendations? (The shocks / struts are well overdue for a replacement, so why not upgrade the comfort while im at it, as I mainly want comfort and reliability considering its well over 300,000 miles) Thanks!
Trying to get a gas saver 😅
My manual 2008 accord is having a problem in any gear other than 1st or Reverse where the gear doesn’t seem to be engaging all the way and even lightly tapping the gas even when at speed shoots the RPMs up to 3-4000 and barely provides acceleration. Any advice on what could be the specific issue and how easily fixable it may be? I can’t really provide any more info for a bit so if this isn’t enough to tell anything I’m sorry lol.
Guys this just happened today in the Bronx NY and would like to know if the the gray pickup truck is at fault what ya honestly think?
My Old 1990 ACCORD LX f22a4 CB7 unfortunately don’t have anymore.

Took this out about 6 months ago (bought it in June 2025) and after a while I finally noticed that my ac makes a slight squeaky noise when the fan is turned 3 notches or more. I’ve heard some hondas can have weak AC’s but I think mines would benefit from a replacement.
Making a To-Do List with my 9th Gen and was wondering if anyone here has replace their blower motor and has had a noticeable difference afterwards in performance.
