Hoping for feedback from finance students
Hey all,
I’ve been working on a data tool at https://secwatch.observer and I’m trying to see if this kind of thing would be interesting to students for keeping up with companies and corporate events.
It is essentially a live intelligence feed for all U.S. based public companies, with data derived from 8-K filings just moments after they come online.
By all means, please play around, create a watchlist, view ticker pages or the daily digests. If you have any feature requests, I’ll try to get to them.
I’m backfilling thousands of filings per day. Have about a year’s worth currently, but hoping to backdate at least 5 years over the next month or so.
Note to the mods: I’m hoping this post is okay. I am not soliciting anything for purchase; everything on the site is free with no ads. I am just hoping to get feedback from students and it might have utility for their coursework / personal interests.
