Lupus??
Seeking thoughts, I have my next follow up next month but these just came back.
Some back story is 31 yr F. I have ALWAYS been fatigued, every since I was a kid I have been known as the girl who likes to sleep. I can nap for 2-4hrs, wake up for a bit then sleep all night and a majority of days I feel like I need to.
Out of high school 2013ish (18-19yr old) I sought answers. I thought for sure something was up with my thyroid as all the women on my moms side have some sort of thyroid issue. It was negative, and at the same time I also inquired about severe shoulder and knee pain that lasted for a few months. I was taking joint juice supplements as I thought it was overuse from stocking in retail. I felt like I was written off because I was young. No answers aside from I had EBV. I delt with the fatigue for years, never really had a primary.
Sept 2024, I finally found a primary doctor to start seeing. What prompted the visit was I had fever off and on for a week with petechiae like rash on my feet. My doctor ran a ton of labs d/t my moms strong autoimmune history (hashimotos, mast cell, ulcerative collitis lymphocyte, psoriasis) as well as what I had reported.
My labs came back essentially showing elevated liver enzymes, + smooth muscle titer, + ANA, and some crystals in urine at the time. I had a referral to rheumatoloy and GI.
The main concern was for possible autoimmune hepatitis or fatty liver and rheumatology referral for previous joint pain.
Ive done a compelete ABD ultrasound neg. Fibroscan minimal scarring; no fat. CT ABD neg. Waiting for GI for next steps, if anything regarding liver.
As far as rheumatoloy, I was cleared until (more?) symptomatic as I don't really have much joint pain anymore.
My last appointment I had new labs done. I've been having inconsistent stools, as well as my iron/ferritin had dropped previously Still very fatigued. So I'm going back to GI. I think I'm going to make a rheumatology appt now before my next primary appt to be ahead and on the schedule.
I just want some type of answer as it's been nearing 2 years since my first labs and my whole life fatigue and thoughts revolving around my sleep.
Are these labs consistent with Lupus? I have pretty frequent canker sores IMO. Approx 1-2 a month that last for a week or two. Some stiffness in fingers and ankles in the morning. I've attributed for a long time to my job stress and on my feet. Aside from the bout of sever shoulder and knee pain when younger, no significant joint pain.
EDIT sorry if this is confusing, I'm quick texting at work. And too much on my mind lately.
