I spent a fun weekend with my mom (who is the best). But because my husband is in Spain, I came home to a house all by myself. it’s glorious! it’s so quiet and perfectly clean.

I took mom to her favorite French/muslim pastry shop run by these amazing ladies from my neighborhood. So now I’m sitting here with a stellar cup of coffee and a chocolate caramel mousse surrounded by more chocolate and shaped in a perfect ball. I’m about to break into it and I just thought about how glorious my life is!

after this…read a book? take a walk in the perfect spring weather? take a nap? or whatever I damn well please. 😉
