Hi! My son just turned 4 months yesterday and at his pediatrician appointment his weight had dropped from the 20th percentile down to the 8th. His length and head circumference were in the 40th percentile and he is exceeding his milestones. He was born at exactly 7lbs and is now 13.1lbs. I am pumping but have to supplement a bottle of formula (about 4-5oz) which I do when he gets up the one time he does at night. Ive tracked his ounces since birth and he eats about 26-31oz a day. At the appointment she told me to start giving him cereal multiple times a day and when I looked back on my chart she notes that she wants me to just give him Formula and not breastfeed anymore. Feeding him has been a sore spot for me since his birth when he didnt latch. The only thing I knew I was going to do when I had him was breastfeed. It was really important to me so when I couldnt do it in the hospital I got really bad mentally and about a week after he was born I started pumping, I accept I never got up to a full supply but I've learned to be okay with supplementing. I don't know what to do about his weight I want him to gain weight and I want to do what's best for him. Please help!
edit: his weight didnt suddenly decrease its been slowly gaining but not at the rate it shows to follow his percentile.
