Stop Trying to Convert People to Monero - Give Them a Reason to Use It

I made a video on chain-hopping, and Monero is the key part of the process.

One point I think the Monero community should lean into more:

Stop trying to explicitly “convert” people into Monero users. It rarely works.

Instead, give people a practical reason to use Monero as a privacy tool.

Many non-Monero users are worried about the crypto regulations like CARF and DAC8. Monero is the key component to break the trail from their past KYC'd coins.

They are often willing to use XMR as a side-tool when moving between chains.

And from experience, once people actually use Monero in a practical workflow, many of them keep the change in XMR. Some even end up moving a much larger part of their holdings into it long-term.

Enjoy, and see you all at MoneroKon.
