So I have worked hard to get to where I am. I've had only a few years of college no degree. I was going for nursing school and for life reasons I had to leave. Since then I went on to work as a printer tech becoming a subject matter expert in my field even going as far as to create documentation on processes and becoming a regional support expert. I have since left there and gotten into a field doing remote programming on video surveillance systems and a position that they called managed services technician. Every field I have gone into. I have started with little knowledge and become an expert in no time. I feel like I am at the top of where I can be right now until my company expands and a new position opens up. I have very solid knowledge in multiple subjects from medical all the way to networking and the technical aspects as in Hands-On work as well. Having said all that, I am now responsible for a family and trying to get to a place where I can be a single income household and my wife could stay home if she wanted to. I wanted to see if anyone had any ideas how I could go from making mid 50k closer to the six figure range? Currently finances are a huge factor keeping me from pursuing education or further certification. Any advice is welcome and I'd be happy to answer any questions. Just new to posting on Reddit so not sure what to include in my post. Thank you in advance!
